American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Professional Experience Born in Taiwan, Dr. Chiang obtained his M.D. from the Chung Shan Medical and Dental College in 1970.
After serving as a 2nd Lieutenant Surgeon for the Chinese Armed Forces, Dr. Chiang completed a two-year residency in OB/GYN with St. Mary's Hospital in Lo-tung, Taiwan. He then went on to a internship with St. Joseph's Hospital in Yonkers, New York.
Dr. Chiang received extensive education in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the New York Medical College and participated in a taining program that provided him with a well-rounded scope of Physical Medicine
and Rehabilitation as well as the different approaches and methodologies in the field, especially in team and multidisciplinary management
Presently, Dr. Chiang is a Staff Physiatrist and Medical Director of the Orthopedic/Amputee program at the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific. Since 1988, Dr. Chiang has also served as the Medical Director
of the Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinics of Hawaii.
